ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (ZIM) has announced the launch of its ZIM PNW Xpress (ZPX), an independent service that will connect Asia, Canada and the US via Vancouver Gateway.
ZPX commenced operations on 21 January 2024, from Cai Mep, Vietnam, with the following rotation:
Cai Mep – Yantian – Kaohsiung – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Vancouver (Deltaport) – Pusan – Cai Mep

The service introduces a Vietnam direct call and offers competitive transit times from Cai Mep and major Chinese ports to the Pacific Northwest.
According to the company, its service features include significant rail access to all important interior IPI locations in Canada and the US, including East and Central Canada, the Midwest, the Ohio Valley, and others.

This month, ZIM signed a deal with Hoopo Systems Ltd. to install cutting-edge tracking devices across its dry-van container fleet.
