TecPlata, International Container Terminal Services, Inc.‘s (ICTSI) Buenos Aires terminal, has welcomed the inaugural call of the SX2 River Plate Express service of Ocean Network Express (ONE).
The news represents a valuable addition to Argentina’s national logistics ecosystem, strengthening maritime connectivity between Argentina and Asia.
The service officially launched in TecPlata in May with the arrival of the vessel Spirit of Dubai, establishing a link with ports in Pusan, southern China, Rio Grande and Montevideo.
TecPlata Chief Executive Officer, Juan Pablo Trujillo, witnessed the arrival of the service together with Fernando Maggi, ONE Argentina President, and Luis Galli, Newsan Chief Executive Officer and President.
Trujillo said: “This new service symbolises the result of joint work and mutual trust. We are honoured that leading companies like ONE and Newsan have chosen TecPlata as part of their logistics chain.
“Our terminal is designed to be an extension of our clients, a partner that supports their operations with efficiency, sustainability and commitment.”
