A recent video published by uni media videos shows the South Carolina Ports Authority’s goal in the port industry, which is to keep freight moving at the lowest cost and at the highest reliability.

South Carolina is deepening its port to 15.8 metres to ensure that it is ready for the larger ships. The port is also investing US$2 billion on new facilities and port-related assets.

The South Carolina Ports Authority currently generates around $6.3 billion annually with the use of its five terminals, and has another terminal under construction.
