Damen’s ASD Tug 2411 ‘Jesus’ has arrived at the Port of Veracruz, Mexico after an order was placed by Reylaver in April, 2015, with the boat travelling 10,500 nautical miles to get to its final destination.

After construction was completed at Damen Shipyards Changde in China, the vessel travelled through the newly expanded Panama Canal to reach Mexico on June 9, 2016.

The boat was then named Jesus on July 18, 2016 and a festive ceremony took place to officially welcome it.

Custom features have been added to the standard design ASD Tug 2411, including new accommodation, but its size ratio remains at 24 metresin length, with an 11-metre beam, 5632 break horse power and a 63.5-tonne bollard pull.
