With the festive season well underway, and Christmas fast approaching, CMA CGM has released a new video to celebrate their staff and success in 2018.
Describing itself as “a large family”, with no less than 34,000 members, the short film takes us behind the scenes into the company’s offices, demonstrating a vibrant culture and team spirit among the carrier’s employees.
There is reason to celebrate for CMA CGM, which has experienced more highs than lows in 2018.

In November 2019, Port Technology reported that the container shipping giant’s revenues spiked by 6.3% during Q3, while the TEU volume shipped by its vessels also rose to 5 million.
In addition to these positive figures, CMA CGM has entered into a number of partnerships during 2019, including a blockchain consortium with DP World, PSA International and Shanghai Port.

CMA CGM also joined an association of leading carriers, such as Maersk, MSC and Hapag-Lloyd, the shipping companies coming together to create information technology standards.
Although the organization has received some blows in 2018, falling below COSCO in Alphaliner’s table of the top 100 shipping companies, CMA CGM has expanded their business portfolio with the acquisition of Containerships and increased investment in CEVA Logistics.
