PSA, SNP collaborate to promote port sustainability in Vietnam

PSA Vietnam Pte Ltd (PSA) and Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on sustainable port development and supply chain connectivity.

The signing took place at the Singapore Regional Business Forum held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 7 July 2023, in the presence of Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and Singapore’s Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr. Tan See Leng.

The MoU underlines the formation of long-term collaborations between the two firms, with the shared objective of using both sides’ insight and skills to assist the growth of the SNP business environment and Vietnamese entrepreneurs.

The collaboration reportedly includes workforce training and development programmes, free trade zone development, investments and port growth, and the use of digital technologies and information technology in port operations.
