Porto Itapoá implements ZIM Gulf Toucan service

Porto Itapoá has added ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (ZIM) ZGT to its service offerings.

The Brazilian port is reportedly the first terminal in the Santa Catarina State (South Brazil) to offer this service.

The first ZGT ship docked at Itapoá on 23 January.

ZIM’s ZGT, which opened in October 2023, connects South America’s east coast to Caribbean and North American ports.

The new rotation will be the following:

Buenos Aires – Montevideo – Itapoá – Paranaguá – Santos – Rio de Janeiro – Cartagena – Kingston – Veracruz – Altamira – Houston – Mobile – Kingston – Cartagena – Santos – Buenos Aires
