The port of Amsterdam has launched a new digital business guide, Portle, increasing the online visibility of all businesses and terminals operating at the port.

The search engine, featured on the ports website, allows users to find companies operating at the port through the use of detailed categories and smart searches.

Categories include, but are not limited to, Storage, Transhipment & Logistics, Maritime Services, Knowledge & Consultancy, and Public services & Government.

Users can search for companies, terminals, sectors and cargo flows, ensuring the relevant information is available, while the system provides an overview of all similar companies also in operation.

The tool will replace the original print version of the business guide.

The port of Amsterdam is Western Europe’s fourth largest port, with a major focus on the shipment and processing of energy products — handling 81 million tonnes of cargo in 2017.
