David Miller, Senior Director of Operations at Marino Group’s Marine Repair Services-Container Maintenance Corporation (MRS-CMC), emphasized the Marino Group’s commitment to bolstering its position in the Gulf by establishing a cutting-edge depot in Mobile.
“The new depot has ample capacity for future growth, top-of-the-line equipment, and a highly skilled team of professionals ready to serve the market,” said Miller.
Strategically located less than a mile from the marine terminals at 1251 Baker Street, the depot effectively addresses capacity issues at the terminals according to the Marino Group. To cater to the region’s trade requirements, the facility is equipped with load lifts, empty handlers, a chassis stacker and downstacker, and reefer plugs.
This marks the ninth year of double-digit growth since 2009 and an 11 per cent increase in volumes over 2021.
