Ocean Network Express (ONE) has launched three new service covering Southeast Asia to Australia.
These services will be a direct replacement of existing ones as the carrier is striving to improve schedule reliability.
ONE will continue to deploy own-flagged vessels on the services, which are expected to start from early March subject to regulatory approvals.
The first service, AU1, will follow the below rotation, kicking off on 9 March:
Port Kelang – Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Melbourne – Sydney – Adelaide – Fremantle – Port Kelang.
The new AU2 service will have the following rotation starting 7 March:
Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Brisbane – Sydney – Brisbane – Tanjung Pelepas.
Finally, the new WAU service will commence on 13 March calling at:
Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Fremantle – Tanjung Pelepas.
Earlier this month, ONE signed definitive agreements to acquire a 51 per cent stake in each of TraPac LLC (TraPac) and Yusen Terminals LLC (YTI).
The acquisitions are part of the integration of the container shipping businesses from the parent companies into ONE.
