New Oil terminal for China’s Chaozhou Port

  • CCCC Second Harbor Engineering to build new 400 million yuan facility for transfer and storage of oil products

CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has agreed a contract with Yihua Petrochemical Co., Ltd. for the planning and design of a new oil terminal in the Chaozhou Port, China.

The terminal complex, requiring a total investment of approximately 400 million yuan, will be used for the storage and transfer of refined oil products including gasoline, diesel and aviation kerosene. It will include one 50,000t berth and a 2,000t berth across 296 metres of quay and will cover an area of 10,034 square metres. Boasting a total tank volume of 295,000 cubic metres the new terminal will have an annual handling capacity of three million tonnes.

CCCC will be responsible for its initial design, construction drawing design and geological surveys at corresponding stages.
