New Appointments for Massterly

Wilhelmsen and Kongsberg have announced that their newly established autonomous shipping company, Massterly, will appoint Tom Eystø as its Managing Director and Per Brinchmann from Wilhelmsen as Chair of Massterly's board.

Both executives are leading figures within the maritime industry with extensive experience and industry knowledge, which will bring Massterly forward with all the necessary creativity and force.

With Eystø’s 25 years in the maritime industry complemented by Per’s 40 years of knowledge in the design, technology, management and operations of ships, their primary task will be to hire Massterly’s business development manager and develop its sales and marketing functions.

Massterly will also focus on its operational resources.

Eystø has wide-ranging experience from Kongsberg Maritime, including knowledge from being the owner of their autonomy programme, dynamic positioning and other relevant technologies.

He will also lead the establishment and development of Massterly, leveraging the strengths and competencies of both Wilhelmsen and Kongsberg.
