APM Terminals has announced Brian Bitsch has assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for APMT Nordics.
Bitsch brings 20 years of experience in global roles within A.P. Moller – Maersk and MSC and has for the past decade worked as a commercial manager at APMT in Africa and Eastern Europe.
With long and broad experience in container logistics and with special expertise in train solutions, customised value-added services, and customer care, Bitsch will be responsible for developing and managing APMT Nordic’s markets.
“I am really looking forward to familiarising myself with the Nordic business dynamics and to gaining a deep understanding of our customers’ daily operations,” commented Bitsch.
“To achieve an even better customer experience, I believe in close cooperation and good dialogue between our customers and colleagues within APMT, as well as with relevant stakeholders – both in the Nordic region and globally.

APMT recently appointed Rex Jackson as Head of Global Operations.
Previously Chief Operating Officer for APMT Tangier, Morocco Jackson assumed the new role in September.
