MSC announces new FAK1 rates

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), has announced the following new freight all kind (FAK1) rates from India, Pakistan, Colombo to Australia.

Effective 8 January until further notice, all cargo moving from all India, Pakistan and Colombo ports to Australia will be subject to a rate increase of $150/TEU.

MSC reported that its standard terms and conditions apply including MSC’s standard Bill of Lading.

Just recently, Port of Hamburg Beteiligungsgesellschaft SE, a totally-owned subsidiary of MSC, announced the outcome of its voluntary public takeover offer for Hamburger Hafen und Logistik Aktiengesellschaft (HHLA) at the conclusion of the extra acceptance time.
