Maersk reshuffles transhipments to Algerian ports

A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) has announced changes in the transshipment ports serving Algeria.

The changes are the following:

Algiers/Skidka:

  • Barcelona-Algiers (weekly) – first effective rotation starting from 5 February
  • Barcelona-Skikda-Algiers (every 15 days) – first effective rotation starting from 22 January

Bejaia:

  • Algeciras – Barcelona -Bejaia (weekly) – first effective rotation starting from 21 January

Oran:

  • No changes in the vessel rotation with Algeciras as the transshipment port

This month, Maersk broke ground on its planned Cold Store facility in Mehsana, Gujarat, in Western India.
