Kalmar has concluded a deal with long-term customers PCC Intermodal S.A (PCC) to supply new reachstackers to the Kutno and Gliwice intermodal terminals in Poland.
The deal sees Kalmar supply the Polish terminals with a total of three new laden container reachstackers and two new empty container reachstackers. This purchase also includes a two-year Kalmar Care service agreement.
Booked in Cargotec’s 2021 Q3 order intake, delivery of the machines is scheduled to begin during Q1 of 2022 and be completed by Q1 of 2023.
The reachstackers will add to PCC’s current fleet comprising of 16 Kalmar reachstackers, two rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs) and a terminal tractor.
“As with previous orders, our goal is to help PCC Intermodal maximise container throughput and reduce their operational costs with an integrated package of high-specification machines and comprehensive coverage,” said Jakub Wojciechowski, Senior Sales and Service Manager at Kalmar Poland.

Kalmar has also announced a new deal made with PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT RAPP) to supply the Port of Buatan with two zero-emission RTG’s, two essential container handlers and an essential reachstacker.
The order was also made during Cargotec’s Q3 2021 intake and is scheduled to be delivered in Q3 of 2022.
