Swedish paperboard company Holmen Iggesund has signed a three-year Kalmar Care service agreement, effective from 1 January 2022.
The signed contract covers the provision of maintenance services for all wheeled loading equipment at Iggesund Mill including forklift trucks, terminal tractors, and cranes. Kalmar is will also oversee the provision of Kalmar Insight performance management software.
The agreement also includes the option for a 12-month extension.

Kalmar has also recently announced it is to deliver new Kalmar Straddle Carriers to terminals in the Port of Antwerp.
Announced in November 2021, a total of 10 hybrid straddle carriers and 19 diesel-electric straddle carriers are set to be delivered to MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET). Five hybrid straddle carries will also be delivered to PSA Antwerp.
The order was booked in Cargotec’s Q4 2021 order intake and delivery is scheduled to be completed in Q3 2022.
