E2open, a provider of intelligent supply chain solutions, has completed its acquisition of cloud-based software specialist Amber Road.
Announced in May 2019 – a story reported by PTI – the US$425 million deal involved an all-cash tender offer for the entirety of Amber Road’s outstanding shares, followed by the integration of the company into E2open.
As a result of the tender offer and merger, Amber Road is now a privately held subsidiary of E2open and will help its customers to operate an end-to-end supply chain from “one cloud-based location”.
