Ocean Network Express (ONE), formed in July 2017 after the integration of Japanese ocean carriers K Line, MOL and NYK, has released a new video that takes viewers on a journey through the re-branding of its ‘ONE Commitment’ vessel.
The vessel, which was reborn in ONE’s magenta colour in Singapore after originally being a MOL vessel, was received by ONE at the Yantian International Container Terminals (YICT) in May 2018.
The company’s latest video charts the ship’s transformation, from the moment it arrived at the Port of Singapore, to the ONE Commitment preparing for its maiden voyage.
A huge crew were on hand to spray down the 8,560 TEU vessel, make necessary adjustments, and apply a new coat of paint, a process which is all part of ONE’s project for the future of their brand.
According to ONE, the company “were born to initiate new industry practices and shape dreams and possibilities”, a philosophy which is represented by eye-popping ships like the ONE Commitment.
Outlining the organisation’s aims, Shunichiro Mizukami, Managing Director of ONE in East Asia, said: “We are committed to service excellence and will continue to ensure the service quality that ONE gives is supporting the global trade.”
