CMA CGM announces new France-Egypt flight

CMA CGM Air Cargo has announced the opening of a new scheduled route between Paris (CDG) and Cairo (CAI).

CMA CGM will serve CAI with one weekly flight from 3 October with an A330F aircraft.

The ship liner aims to strengthen its combined offer with the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo Group through this new route.

According to CMA CGM, Cairo airport is a major air freight and passenger hub offering adapted infrastructures for intermodal connections in the region.

“This new destination is part of our strategic partnership with the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo Group and complements the existing offer to give you even more options for your air transport needs,” CMA CGM reported in a statement.

The carrier kicked off its strategic partnership for air cargo services with Air France-KLM in April.

More recently, CMA CGM announced the establishment of ZEBOX UK in Manchester, UK, with the goal of paving new routes for co-innovation between corporates and entrepreneurs across industries.
