Cavotec has introduced a varied product range, spanning RTG’s, 5cm-Movement Moor Masters and Moor Dock Ships, a spokesman revealed today at TOC Europe.
The exhibitor has seen some big developments over the 2013-2014 period, most notably, its RTG technology which was intended for the Middle-East/Asian market.
It has also stated that the Port of Singapore is a key target market for Cavotec’s RTG’s.
In terms of productivity gains, the Moor-Master enables a 5cm movement, making it more secure, it was claimed; while the RTG aims to reduce pollution, since it can be powered from the grid.
As a result, efficiency is claimed to be much higher and more reliable than using diesel fuel, and this can also can lead to cost savings.
