A video released by global dredging company Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. shows the effort and man power that was required to finish the massive Suez Canal expansion project, a feat that has been completed in 10 months.
The Suez Canal is due to be inaugurated on Thursday August 5, 2015 and up to this stage, around one million cubic metres of sand per day was being dredged to create the new 35-kilometre parallel waterway.

The largest dredging fleet in the world was mobilised for the project, with a workforce spanning 45 nationalities.
