Broekman Logistics is selling the Distriport terminal in Brittanniëhaven to Belgian-Luxembourgish shipping group CLdN.
According to the Port of Rotterdam, Distriport covers 22 hectares and includes a 630-metre quay, container transshipment and storage facilities, 50,000 square metres of covered warehouses, transshipment capabilities for general cargo, high and heavy loads, and a track header with 1.4 kilometres of rail.
This acquisition enables CLdN to diversify and broaden its service offerings.

Rik Pek, CEO of Broekman Logistics, to Flows, explained: “While Distriport has a clear strategic fit with CLdN’s activities, it is less aligned with Broekman Logistics’ strategic focus as an industrial specialist in Machinery, Industrial, and Chemicals.
“The Distriport terminal is very dear to us. Nevertheless, we have every confidence that all our 80 coworkers will have a good future at CLdN.”
