Bolloré Logistics Italy has obtained the exclusive use of two biofuel trucks from its partner, the Alha Group, one of Italy’s leading companies in the air cargo sector.
Alha Group provides ramp and warehouse handling services, as well as national and international road transport.
The new trucks will reduce CO2 by 72 per cent emissions while maintaining the same load capacity, mileage and load safety as their Euro 6 diesel counterparts.
The initiative comes on top of the company’s innovative aviation solutions with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Late last year, Bolloré Logistics and Sarcona developed a new sustainable last-mile logistics solution utilising an electric vehicle between New Jersey and New York.
More recently, the CMA CGM Group successfully finalised the 100 per cent purchase of Bolloré Logistics.
