Following the success at the semi-finals in March, 2016 Bollard Load Testing (BLT) has won the Regional Innovation Award for its portable, and cost-effective testing equipment for quayside bollards at the April, 2016 Grand Final North East of England Business Awards.
This follows news that BLT had been selected as the winner of the Tyneside Innovation Award.
Technical Paper: Bollard Safety Innovation for Ports and Terminals
BLT has now completed projects to test the safe working load of marine bollards in many ports and shipyards.
Throughout the UK, projects have taken place in London, Bristol and Liverpool, among other locations.
