AD Ports Group has announced the signing of several collaboration agreements with Shandong Port Group (SPG), a Chinese conglomerate that provides port operations.
The arrangement utilises the ‘Sister Ports’ agreement between Shandong Port and Khalifa Port, which was announced in December 2021, to build a collaboration and deepen cooperation between the two.
SPG will carry passenger automobiles from its Chinese ports to Autoterminal Khalifa Port, where they will be kept and displayed at KEZAD facilities.
The agreements, which include all elements of operation, exhibition, and services, were signed during a ceremony held at Autoterminal Khalifa Port, which has already received the first batch of automobiles.
