In 2020, INFORM kicked off a three-part series on data strategy. Now, over a year later, they are back concluding the series with Part 3, the third and final installment looking at data science applications.

Data science applications are hiding in plain sight all around us. In many areas, these so-called ‘AI solutions’ have started to make regular appearances and, in most cases, add real value to our everyday lives. Even in the fields of maritime and intermodal terminal operations, many of these technologies have emerged over the past few years to become game-changers for our sector as well.
