The Rhenus Group has appointed Peter Nordstrom as Chief Executive Officer for its Air & Ocean division in North America.
He will now oversee regional operations and align with the company’s global strategic vision.
Nordstrom has a proven track record of more than 25 years of international experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management industry.
He has led successful transformational projects, improved operational performance, and accelerated growth across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining Rhenus, he held senior positions at Ceva Logistics, Geodis, Kuehne + Nagel, and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Ocean Freight Americas at DB Schenker.
As CEO for the Air & Ocean division in North America, Nordstrom will ensure strategic alignment with the global Air & Ocean strategy and lead organisational growth in Canada and the US.
He will increase operational efficiency, expand the regional market position, and accelerate growth. Nordstrom will report directly to Jan Harnish, Member of the Board, Air & Ocean.

Earlier this summer, the Rhenus Group, a global logistics service provider, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with Kyrgyz Temir Zholu, the National Railway Company of the Kyrgyz Republic.
