The Port of Tyne has appointed Judith Hartley MBE and James Wroe as Non-Executive Directors to its Board, strengthening its leadership team with extensive expertise in finance, logistics, and maritime operations.
Their appointments support the port’s strategy for innovation, sustainability, and regional growth.
Judith Hartley MBE is a finance specialist with over three decades of experience in corporate banking and business finance.
She previously held senior roles at the British Business Bank and in corporate banking with Barclays and Bank of Scotland.
She was awarded an MBE in the King’s 2025 New Year Honours for services to business.
James Wroe brings more than 20 years of experience in ports and shipping.
Currently Managing Director for Ports & Logistics at InductEV, he has previously held senior positions at Maersk across Europe and Asia, including COO for Asia Pacific and Head of Hub Port Investment.
A Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics & Transport, Wroe began his career with P&O Nedlloyd.
