  • Crane orders totalling RMB 0.617 billion announced by ZPMC

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (ZPMC) has won bids amounting to RMB 0.617 billion for two port machinery projects in Tangshan Port and Dalian Port respectively.

The Port of Tangshan has ordered a total of four container handling cranes and 14 yard cranes, at a cost of RMB 0.337 billion, to enhance its loading/unloading berth operations in the Jingtang District. The cranes, scheduled for delivery at the end of August 2014, follow July’s order for three 2,100t/h ship unloaders for use at the port’s new coal handling facility.

Dalian Port meanwhile has purchased four container cranes and a further eight yard cranes for RMB 0.28 billion for its Taipingwan District operations.
