ZIM Announces Change to Senior Management

ZIM has announced that the Saar Dotan, vice president of Global Sales, will replace vice president of shipping Rafael Ben-Ari, becoming the new EVP of Countries and Business Development.

Saar Dotan joined ZIM in 2005, holding several senior positions at the company before being appointed EVP of Sales and Customer service.

Yair Teitelbaum has been appointed as ZIM’s new vice president of Global Sales, effective from September 1, 2018 — coming into the company from Mitsubishi Motors’ Israel Division where he served as senior director.

ZIM’s president and CEO Eli Glickman said: “Saar brings with him vast experience in the shipping industry and a solid expertise in business & commercial processes and sales.

“I would like to take this opportunity and to thank Rafael Ben Ari for his dedication and contribution to the company.

“During his tenure, he led essential business initiatives for ZIM with great success through challenging business periods.

ZIM also announced that Mr. Assaf Tiran, vice president of Global Customer Service, will be joining the senior management team after leading the service function at a global organization for the last three years.
