ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. has joined the “Move to -15” coalition, a cross-industry initiative aimed at reducing emissions in the cold chain sector.
The coalition seeks to raise the standard temperature for frozen cargo from -18°C to -15°C, a change that could prevent up to 17.7 million metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
ZIM offers an advanced fleet of reefer containers, supported by its exclusive ZIMonitor service, which ensures real-time monitoring to maintain optimal cold chain conditions.
