Yilport Holding have posted a 4.6% increase in volume for the first half of 2018 after solid growth at most of its terminals.
In total, 3.2 million TEUs were handled globally at Yilport’s terminals. The company put the growth down to the strong performance of the Turkish economy. Yilport Gezebe, Yilport Holding’s home terminal in Turkey, recorded 284,266 TEUs, a 15.2% increase on the first half of 2017.
Yilport Gemport, the company’s other big terminal in Turkey, recorded an increase of 5.8% since the first half of 2017. Yilport’s terminals in Sweden and Norway also enjoyed strong growth with a jump of 1.7% in TEUs handled at its Sweden and Norway terminals.

The strongest first half growth was seen at Yilport’s Latin America ports – TEU volume rose by 30.1% and 16% in its Ecuador and Peru terminals respectively.
