Singapore-based shipping group X-Press Feeders will enhance its Mexico Central America (MCX) service as of mid-January 2022.
The update will see three vessels deployed on an updated route, which now covers an additional three ports. Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Quetzal, and Corinto have now all been added.
The full updated route of the service is as follows: Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) – Ajacutla (El Salvador) – Corinto (Nicaragua) – San Lorenzo (Argentina) – Puerto Quetzal – Lazaro Cardenas
This will be a reefer dedicated service and aims to provide a direct connection between Mexico and Central America.
X-Press Feeders has also recently unveiled its new Straits India X-Press (SIX).
This new service will be launched on 12 January 2022 and will consist of three 1,350-TEU vessels.
The full rotation of this service is as follows: Singapore – Port Klang (Malaysia) – Nhava Sheva (India) – Mundra (India) – Singapore
SIX is set to add on to the company’s Straits – Nhava Sheva and Mundra coverage by providing additional frequencies per week.
