X-Press Feeders has won the Marine Money 2024 East Leasing Deal of the Year for its French leasing arrangement involving six dual-fuel methanol vessels.
In 2024, Eastaway France SAS secured over $280 million in long-term financing through French leasing, navigating complex legal and operational challenges.
The deal aligns with X-Press Feeders’ environmental goals and was supported by the French International Register Office and Maritime Administration.

Partner banks included Société Générale, Crédit Industriel et Commercial, BNP Paribas, Bank of America, DekaBank, and KfW Ipex.
Recognised for its innovative structure and role in advancing sustainable shipping, the deal supports the company’s growing methanol-powered fleet and its broader decarbonisation strategy.
