Simon Everett, Managing Director at Strainstall, has explained how the company's retrofitted container weighing systems (CWS) works with port technology such as straddle carriers, reachstackers and RTG (rubber tired gantry) cranes.
The CWS provider's load cell based solution can automatically feed information back to a TOS (terminal operating system) using an interface box.
