ABB’s Remote Crane Operator Stories series (#RemoteCraneOperators) has begun with Jan Peeman, an employee of APM Terminals, who has moved containers for 13 years.
In a video, Peeman, an operator for the cranes of Maasvlakte II — a fully automated container facility in the Netherlands, has shared his experience of moving from a crane cabin to a control room.
ABB’s stories will continue with the stories of two more crane operators.
