Wan Hai unveils India - East Mediterranean Service
Wan Hai Lines has announced the launch of its latest initiative — the India–East Mediterranean 2 Service (IM2), set to commence operations.

This addition to Wan Hai’s global network is designed to offer a direct and reliable link between India and key ports in the Eastern Mediterranean, significantly boosting port coverage and regional connectivity.

The IM2 service will be operated in partnership with Emirates Shipping Line FZE and will deploy a total of four vessels, each with a nominal capacity of 2,700 to 2,800 TEUs.

Wan Hai Lines will reportedly contribute one vessel to the rotation.

The inaugural sailing will depart from Mundra Port on 1 June 2025, and the service will follow a consistent 28-day round-trip schedule.

The full port rotation includes: Mundra – Jeddah – Suez – Alexandria – Mersin – Suez – Jeddah – Mundra.

Last month, Wan Hai Lines launched the Tamil Nadu – Thailand Express (TTX) Service to expand its network with direct connections from Vietnam and Thailand to East India.
