A recently released video exhibits the construction of the world’s biggest container ship, the MSC Oscar.

According to gCaptain, the megaship was christened at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea on January 8, 2015.

PTI previously reported that the CSCL Globe was the largest container ship in the world, with an operating capacity of 19,000 TEU.

However, the MSC Oscar is set to overtake the CSCL Globe with a TEU-capacity of 19,224, making it the next incumbent of the world title.
