Container-handlers and other types of port equipment can be efficient when handled in the correct way. However, one wrong move and the consequences could be dire.
As the following video shows, one slight misjudgement can lead to mishaps that could have otherwise been avoided with some prior planning.
The container-handler appears to have been lifting the container too high and subsequently lost control of the vehicle.
Height, vehicle speed and natural elements can all affect the safety and security of handling port equipment.
