A video released by port developer shows the construction work that is taking place at the new Priok container terminal 1 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
PTI previously reported Indonesia’s US$7bn maritime plan to construct a number of ports across the country, with port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II contributing around $1bn in bonds to kickstart the projects.
The project intends to increase water depth at the New Priok Terminal to around 20 metres so that ships of 10,000 TEU capacity or more can dock in Indonesia.
