Valenciaport’s throughput drop has been partly due to the decline in sales abroad by Spanish companies and a slowdown in industrial production.
It is also because of an overall unstable economy due to the world crisis in the energy sector, the war in Ukraine, the price of fuel, the increase in the cost of energy and the scarcity of raw materials, as reported by the port.
