Tsubaki Kabelschlepp (Tsubaki), experts in cable carrier solutions, has announced that Dutch company CraneSolutions installed its Easy Guide System to fill an order of 10 single-girder traveling overhead cranes.

In a statement, Tsubaki said the Easy Guide System is a new guide for cable carriers which was specially developed for use in crane systems.

It features a space saving design, as well as simple and fast assembly with few components. “The Easy Guide System from TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP makes it possible to build overhead cranes with cable carriers without loosely hanging festoon loops,” explains Grego Ernst, CEO and owner of Wisman Techniek, the Dutch partner of TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP.

“We are working at a very similar price level here as with festoon systems. But in direct comparison, the guide channels feature much easier assembly. The channels are also much less prone to malfunctions and no additional steel structures are necessary.”

In the case of CraneSolutions, the Easy Guide System is part of a complete package: TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP and Wisman Techniek also supply the suitable cable carriers, cables and hoses – configured ready to connect.

The QuickTrax 0320 cable carrier with outside opening crossbars is used in all cranes. CraneSolutions also receives the required cables from the TRAXLINE cable range.

“We are very satisfied with the cable carriers, which were supplied ready to install,” emphasizes Jacco Hus.

“Assembly is quick and easy and the quality is good.” The engineer also loves the Easy Guide System because it makes it possible to build very compact cranes.

“Compared to the traditional festoon systems, we require much less installation space. It is a convenient side effect that the cranes with the Easy Guide System not only function perfectly, but also look a lot better.”
