“This solution will help to reduce traffic and truck wait-times, saving our customers time and money, and reducing carbon emissions at the port,” Termont said in a statement.
“We are very impressed with DMS Logistics’ expertise in developing powerful tools that that demonstrate the highest standards in functionality, user experience, and cyber security, which will provide our team with the most advanced VBS system in North America.”
This partnership comes almost two months after the Montreal Port Authority (MPA) announced that the government of Quebec granted CAD$75 million ($54.8 million) to its Contrecoeur expansion project.
More recently, the Port of Montreal and HAROPA Port announced the renewal of their first international cooperation agreement that took place six years prior.
