Terberg has been promoting its range of terminal tractors at TOC Europe.
The tractor manufacturer said that some of its product range has enabled ships to sail overnight, thereby improving speed and efficiency.
The tractors have also allowed higher volumes of container weight to be loaded and unloaded onto ships.
Maarten van Brink, sales consultant at Terberg said: “Operational efficiency is also improved by the ramps installed on ships, which have a holding capacity of 150 tonnes.”
Terberg also revealed plans to launch its new electrical terminal tractor which is ready to go into production and is scheduled for delivery next month.
