Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has experienced strong demand for the Terex Liftace 5-31 reach stacker at its market launch in Antwerp. At the event, which took place on April 19-21, French-authorised distributors of TPS’ products, Francetruck SA (Francetruck) and Société Nantaise de Manutention SAS (SNM) each decided to add the Liftace to their product offering.
Steve Filipov, President at Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions handed over the key for the first machine for Cuypers during the kick-off event. Cuypers will use the new reach stacker in lift truck rental.
All three customers have an existing fleet of Terex reach stackers and, with the new investments, are focusing on innovation and continuity.
Steve Filipov said: “The Liftace 5-31 reach stacker combines the expertise and strengths of two Terex legacy brands, PPM and Fantuzzi, with many innovative features. The strong demand from the start shows that customers appreciate our strategy of developing new machines on the basis of proven products. The new reach stacker will help our customers to work more efficiently and cost-effectively.”
The compact and highly manoeuvrable Liftace 5-31 reach stacker offers a maximum load capacity of 45 t in the first container row and travel speeds up to 25 kilometres per hour and a maximum lifting speed of 0.45 metres per second.
