Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has installed a second Terex Gottwald portal harbour crane – a cost-efficient alternative to bulk gantry cranes – in the terminal of Fospar S.A. Fertilizantes Fosfatados do Paraná (Fospar) in Paranagua, Brazil.

The instillation continues the success TPS has witnessed in Latin America with its reach stackers.

The Port of Santos has also received a Terex Model 4 crane in the G HSK 4316 B variant where it will support an identical crane which was delivered in 2012. They will both be used together to handle 2.5 million t of fertilizer a year.

Andrés Ramirez, marketing manager of Equiport, explains: “The TPS model range covers all requirements, from a small, simply equipped reach stacker to a high-performance intermodal machine with extensive equipment. So we can always offer our customers, like Bandeirantes now, the machines to meet their current requirements.”
