Dr Mathias Dobner, Engineering Vice President of Systems and Automation at Terex Port Solutions recently spoke with PTI at TOC Europe in Rotterdam. He highlights several key trends which are present in the industry, including automation, the efficient use of energy, and optimising terminal operations through more intelligent software packages.
Dr Dobner also articulates Terex’ belief in holistic solutions, including planning, simulation, equipment and software, adding that software in the future will have much more importance for the development of terminal operations.
