TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator has joined the Portchain Connect network to enhance its berth alignment process with shipping lines.
This partnership aims to improve the efficiency and speed of communication through digital handshakes and secure data sharing.
Portchain Connect will allow TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator to receive real-time schedule and move count updates from carrier systems, enabling it to respond quickly and propose adjustments to align the vessel schedule with the terminal’s berth plan.

Mutlu Aygun, Vessel Operations Manager at TCEEGE, commented: “Our collaboration with Portchain is underpinned by a shared commitment to excellence, as we work together to harness the power of data and collaboration to optimise our entire logistics process.”
The platform streamlines the exchange of schedule data, reducing the time needed to align berthing windows. It also offers an easy-to-use overview of vessel calls, ensuring the secure transfer of berthing information.
By eliminating the costs of manual communication, Portchain Connect aims to improve schedule reliability and reduce delays in data transmission.
“We are excited to work with TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator and help them drive efficiencies in their berth alignment process by facilitating streamlined data exchange,” said Thor Thorup, CCO and Co-Founder of Portchain.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration and continuously improving the platform based on user feedback.”
Last December, Portchain announced the successful integration with DP World terminals in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Fremantle.
