Dr Yvo Saanen, CEO and Co-Founder of simulation and emulation specialist TBA, has been selected in the final three in a competition for Dutch engineering’s biggest prize; the ‘Prince Friso Engineering Award’.
Dr Saanen was selected for changing the world’s standard in port design and his influence on optimising terminals across the globe.

His most recent projects are at Maasvlakte II in Rotterdam, where he is the founding father of the newest technology being used at these futuristic terminals, from design until delivery of the hyper intelligent software.
The award is given by the Royal Institute of Engineers and the elections will start on February 10, 2015.
